The soul of a man is like a moth, it is fragile and vulnerable. Its relentless pursuit of a dream may singe its wings as with fire… The main character of the film is lonely. People do not accept him as an equal, because he’s not like others, Paul is deaf since childhood. The young man lives in a village in the old house on the bank of a picturesque river. But his world, his soul is like a lonely island. The need for love and friendship becomes his misfortune. Only sweet memories of his mother and her dreams of returning to a homeland give Paul’s soul hope for happiness. This is a story about love and disappointment, friendship and betrayal.
